SharkSale ("SharkSale," "we," "us," or "our") operates the sharksale.pro website and the SharkSale Discord training experience. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from you, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Who We Are
SharkSale is the trade name of the entity registered with the IRS under EIN as SharkSale. For all privacy questions, you can reach us at chad@sharksale.pro or joe@sharksale.pro.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account & Billing Data
- Your Discord user ID, username, and server (guild) ID when you authorize the SharkSale bot.
- Your email address and payment metadata when you purchase a session, pass, or team plan. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers.
- Your assigned SharkSale role(s) and entitlement status.
2.2 Training Session Data
- Audio captured from your microphone inside a SharkSale voice channel during an active session.
- Transcripts generated from that audio (speech-to-text).
- The synthesized AI buyer audio and text response stream.
- Scorecards, coaching reports, certificates, and historical session metadata (date, length, difficulty level, persona used).
2.3 Technical Data
- Standard server logs: IP address, user agent, request paths, error stacks.
- Bot-side diagnostics: voice connection state, latency, model fallbacks.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Deliver the product: route your voice through the AI buyer pipeline, return coaching, and assign the correct paid role.
- Improve performance and scoring: tune scoring models, fix bugs, and refine persona behavior. We do not sell raw transcripts or audio to third parties.
- Bill and account: reconcile Stripe charges, prevent abuse, and provide receipts and refunds when applicable.
- Communicate: respond to support emails, deliver important service updates, and (optionally) send training tips if you opt in.
4. Service Providers We Share With
To run the product, your data is processed by a small number of vendors under their own terms and privacy commitments:
- Discord — voice transport, user identity, role grants.
- Stripe — payments, subscriptions, fraud screening.
- OpenRouter / model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and similar) — LLM inference for the buyer persona and scoring.
- Deepgram — speech-to-text transcription.
- ElevenLabs and Microsoft Edge TTS — voice synthesis for the AI buyer.
- Supabase / managed Postgres — durable storage for sessions, scores, and entitlements.
- Our cloud host (Hetzner) — VM, networking, and storage.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Voice Recording Notice
SharkSale is an active training tool. By joining a SharkSale voice channel and starting a session, you understand that your microphone audio will be captured, transcribed, and analyzed for the duration of that session. If you do not want to be recorded, do not start a session.
6. Data Retention
- Raw audio is retained only as long as needed to generate your transcript and scorecard, and is then discarded on a rolling basis.
- Transcripts, scorecards, and certificates are retained as long as your account is active so that you can review your history.
- You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing chad@sharksale.pro or joe@sharksale.pro.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email chad@sharksale.pro or joe@sharksale.pro from the email address tied to your SharkSale account.
8. Children
SharkSale is a B2B-style sales training product. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Security
We use industry-standard transport encryption (HTTPS/TLS), restricted server access, and least-privilege service credentials. No system is perfectly secure — if you discover a vulnerability, please report it to chad@sharksale.pro or joe@sharksale.pro so we can fix it quickly.
10. Changes
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, post a notice in the SharkSale Discord server.
